MORRISTOWN, NEW JERSEY (September 20, 2017): Brian McGann of Westfield, N.J. has joined Beacon Trust Company as Executive Managing Director of Investment Strategy. In this position, McGann will be responsible for developing the firm’s investment strategy in support of the organization’s overall business plan. He will also lead and direct a team that is responsible for investment strategy and deployment, portfolio management, research and trading, and institutional distribution. In addition, McGann will work closely with other departments of the organization to ensure that the firm’s investment strategy supports the delivery of a best-in-class client experience.

McGann has more than 25 years’ experience in investment management and investment strategy. Prior to joining Beacon Trust, he was Executive Director, Portfolio Solutions for UBS Private Bank, where he served as a senior portfolio manager responsible for marketing and managing multi-asset class, multi-currency discretionary investment platform utilizing third party and proprietary models within Unified Managed Accounts. He has held similar positions with HSBC Bank USA, JP Morgan Securities, and Marine Midland Securities.
McGann received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a member of the CFA Institute, and a member of the NY Society of Securities Analysts.
