James D. Nesci – President
James Nesci is president of Beacon Trust Company and also serves as chief wealth management officer at The Provident Bank.

Mr. Nesci has been in the financial industry for more than 20 years and is working to enhance and expand wealth management services in response to the growing demand for sophisticated and reliable financial advice.

He is a member of Beacon Trust’s board of directors and Provident Bank’s Executive Leadership Team, which drives the direction of the bank. He also serves on several of the bank’s management committees, including the Asset and Liability Committee, Officers Trust Committee, and Disclosure Committee. In addition, Mr. Nesci is a board member of Provident Investment Services, Inc.

Prior to joining Provident, Mr. Nesci was chief operating officer for the national wealth management division of Wilmington Trust. While at Wilmington, Mr. Nesci was a key member of the wealth management merger and acquisitions team. Earlier, he worked with Lehman Brothers’ high net worth group and in the corporate trust departments of U.S. Trust and HSBC.

Mr. Nesci has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Hofstra University and earned masters’ degrees from the London and Columbia Business Schools’ EMBA-Global program.
 
Alan D. Segars, CFA – Chief Investment Officer
Alan Segars is Beacon Trust’s chief investment officer. He has worked in the financial industry for more than 30 years.

Mr. Segars leads and manages Beacon’s investment policy. He makes investment recommendations and implements strategic plans – designing, articulating, supporting and directing investments to complement Beacon’s vision. He is the chief spokesperson on portfolio strategy, asset allocation and overall markets and the economy.

Previously, Mr. Segars was with ING Investment Management Company as a managing director and senior equity portfolio manager, and earlier, as a senior fixed-income portfolio manager. Prior to that, he was a managing partner with Grigsby Branford Capital Partners, as well as head of fixed-income management for Bank of New York.

Mr. Segars earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the City College of New York and a master’s degree with a concentration in finance and investments from Bernard M. Baruch College. He also is a chartered financial analyst (CFA).
 
Valerie O. Murray, CFP - Executive Managing Director, Client Services
Valerie Murray is executive managing director of client services responsible for the overall management of both client services and operations, handling relationship management and trust operations. She has worked in the financial industry for more than 15 years.

Prior to joining Beacon, Ms. Murray was senior vice president and senior trust officer at U.S. Trust, Bank of America in New York City. She had fiduciary and administrative responsibility for more than 70 clients with $600 million in assets under management. During her 15-year tenure with U.S. Trust, Ms. Murray successfully transitioned clients through several mergers and acquisitions, including Charles Schwab’s acquisition of U.S. Trust in 2000 and Bank of America’s acquisition of U.S. Trust in 2007.

Ms. Murray received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Bucknell University and she is a certified financial planner (CFP).
 
Gregory J. Dubnansky, CTFA – Director of Sales, Wealth Management
Gregory Dubnansky is director of sales for the wealth management group. He has more than 35 years of financial industry experience.

Prior to Beacon Trust, Mr. Dubnansky held senior positions with major banking institutions, including First Morris Bank & Trust, Trust Company of New Jersey, Fleet Bank, Summit Bancorp and Garden State Bank. His core experience lies in administration, tax, marketing, business development and operations.

Mr. Dubnansky is a member of the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Central New Jersey and a past member of the Toms River Kiwanis Club. As a member of the New Jersey Bankers Association, he served on both the Marketing and Business Development and the Administration Committees for the association’s Trust & Financial Management Division.

Mr. Dubnansky received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bentley University and is a graduate of the Mid-Atlantic School of Trust at Bucknell University. He was designated a certified trust and financial advisor (CTFA) upon graduation from the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University.
 
Leonard G. Gleason - General Counsel
Leonard G. Gleason is general counsel of Beacon Trust and also serves as senior vice president and associate general counsel at The Provident Bank. With more than 30 years of legal experience in the banking industry, Mr. Gleason provides legal advice and counsel to the various departments within both organizations.

Previously, Mr. Gleason served as general counsel and secretary at UnitedTrust Bank in Bridgewater. Earlier, he was corporate counsel at Cenlar Federal Savings Bank in Ewing, corporate counsel and secretary at Berkeley Federal Savings Bank in Millburn, and tax counsel at Carteret Savings Bank in Morristown.

Mr. Gleason received a bachelor’s degree from St. Peter’s College and earned a juris doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. He is a former trustee and treasurer of the Battleship New Jersey Historical Museum Society.
 
 
Michael J. Giannotto - Chief Compliance Officer
Michael Giannotto is Beacon Trust’s chief compliance officer. He has worked in the financial industry for more than 25 years.

Mr. Giannotto is responsible for developing and maintaining procedures and controls for critical functions at Beacon, including operations, client services, investments, sales and compliance.

Previously, Mr. Giannotto was director of risk management at UBS Wealth Management, where he developed, implemented and maintained compliance risk management programs, procedures and systems. Earlier, he was senior vice president of compliance of global wealth management at Citigroup. Prior to that, Mr. Giannotto was first vice president at Prudential Securities.

Mr. Giannotto received a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz. He also has Series 7 and 24 certifications.
