Marc L. Paley - Chief Executive Officer & President
Marc Paley spent over 18 years at Lehman Brothers, Inc., where he was a Managing Director and held several senior management positions through 2007.

During his time at Lehman Brothers, Inc., Mr. Paley was Global Head of Equity Capital Markets and Global Head of the U.S. Cash Equities Business. In these capacities, Mr. Paley managed over 700 people worldwide in Capital Markets, Trading, Sales, and Research. Mr. Paley was a member of the firm-wide Management Committee, Global Investment Banking Executive Committee, and the Global Equities Executive Committee.

Additionally, he spent two years as Chief Operating Officer of the Global Trading Strategies Group, where he was responsible for 20 professionals, managing $5 billion invested in Equities, Fixed Income, and Private Equity.

Mr. Paley spent 2007 as acting CEO and Supervisory Board member of Meridian 10 Holding AG, a German Shipping Investment Company. He was a founder of Meridian 10 while employed at Lehman Brothers, Inc.

Mr. Paley is currently a member for the Board of Trustees of Lehigh University and holds positions on the Investment sub-Committee of the Lehigh Endowment and the Executive Committee Advisory Board for the College of Business and Economics. He earned his B.S. from Lehigh University and his M.B.A. from Columbia University. Mr. Paley also holds the CPA designation.

 
Fred S. Fraenkel - Vice-Chairman, Chairman of Investment Policy Committee
Mr. Fraenkel has over 30 years of investing experience including membership in Barron's year-end roundtable from 1982 to 1985 and heading Global Research at Lehman Brothers in the early 90's. In 2000, he founded and was Chairman of Millennium 3 Capital, a venture firm specializing in early stage companies. Before Millenium 3, Mr. Fraenkel served as Vice Chairman of ING Barings Furman Selz and Chief Operating Officer of Furman Selz.

Prior to joining Furman Selz in March 1995, Mr. Fraenkel spent seven years at Lehman Brothers, Inc.,  where he was a Managing Director and Director of Global Research overseeing 110 analysts located in New York, London, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. As Global Research Director, he participated in managing the department's ascension in the Institutional Investor poll from a rank of 15th in 1987 to 1st in 1990, 1991, and 1992.

Before Lehman Brothers, Mr. Fraenkel was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Market America Group, an investment advisory firm. He also spent four and a half years as Director of Equity Research and a member of the Board of Directors at Prudential Securities. He began his Wall Street career in 1974 as a Securities Analyst with Goldman Sachs & Company and was Chief Investment Strategist for E.F. Hutton from 1980 to 1982.

Mr. Fraenkel received a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He was elected to membership of Beta Gamma Sigma and Omicron Delta Epsilon, the national business school and economics honorary societies. He is a past Chairman of the Board of Advisors of the College of Business and Economics of Lehigh University. Mr. Fraenkel is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Invention Machine Corporation and The Gerson Lehrman Group.

 
Mark W. Sanborn- Executive Vice President
Mark Sanborn started his career as a design engineer at Texas Instruments in Dallas, TX in 1982. After several years at Texas Instruments, Mr. Sanborn departed for graduate school and began a Wall Street career at Bankers Trust Company in 1986. Mr. Sanborn spent 18 years on Wall Street, primarily involved in structuring and trading fixed income and equity derivatives. From 1994 through 2004, Mr. Sanborn worked at Lehman Brothers, Inc., where he was responsible for global equity trading, which included stock trading, convertible bonds, options, swaps, futures, prime brokerage, and basket trading. Mr. Sanborn was also responsible for a proprietary trading operation, separate and distinct from customer activity, and was a member of the Equity Executive Committee at Lehman Brothers.

After departing Lehman Brothers, Inc., Mr. Sanborn ran two separate hedge funds that invested in equity and quantitative trading strategies. Mr. Sanborn has also been a private investor in several private companies and is currently a board member of Connotate, Inc.

Mr. Sanborn received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University and a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

 
Daniel J. Leary III - Chief Operating Officer & Executive Vice President
Mr. Leary joined Beacon Trust over twenty years ago as Assistant Vice President. Today, he heads Beacon’s Family Office group and manages the firm’s Trust & Estate operations. Mr. Leary designs customized, comprehensive service plans to meet each client’s unique needs. He serves on various non-profit youth sports organizations. Mr. Leary attended Pace University.
 
Michael Jamison – Executive Vice President
Mr. Jamison has more than 25 years of investment and business experience. Prior to joining Beacon Trust, he served as Managing Partner for MB Investment Partners and President and Chief Executive Officer of Jamison Prince Asset Management, where he oversaw investment strategy and process. He was also responsible for strategic and operational decision making for the firm.

Before joining Jamison Prince Asset Management in 2001, Mr. Jamison was a partner at Brandywine Asset Management for seven years, where he was the Founder and Chief Investment Officer for the Private Client business. In that capacity, he was responsible for managing equity and balanced portfolios for institutional and individual clients. Mr. Jamison also served on the firm's Executive Committee as well as the Board of Directors. Prior to Brandywine, he spent five years as a Managing Director with Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management, Inc. and Chief Investment Officer of its subsidiary, PaineWebber Asset Management. For the previous seven years, he was at E.F. Hutton and Company, where he was a First Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of its subsidiary, Hutton Directions Management. Prior to that, Mr. Jamison was a Portfolio Manager at Bankers Trust.

Mr. Jamison holds a B.A. in Economics from Baldwin–Wallace College and an M.B.A. in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

 
Donna K. Priolo - Chief Financial Officer, Managing Director
Prior to joining Beacon Trust, Ms. Priolo held the position of Assistant Controller at Montclair State University.  Previously, she was employed in the public sector as an accountant and auditor. Ms. Priolo began her career at Exxon Corporation as a financial analyst where she was responsible for the financial reporting of the headquarters’ operations.

Ms. Priolo received a B.S. in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

 
Joseph Alviani - Chief Technology Officer, Managing Director
Mr. Alviani has over 15 years of experience in integration of new concepts and technologies into existing business environments within the Retail, Shipping and Financial industries. Prior to joining Beacon Trust, Mr. Alviani worked for CIT, first as a Development Manager, directing teams responsible for business intelligence, data management, web development, and support of a 2000+ multi-national sales force, then as the Vice President Enterprise Architect of Enterprise Technologies, where he worked directly with stakeholders to build a holistic understanding of the organization’s strategy, process, information, and information technology assets.

Mr. Alviani earned a B.A. in Business with a concentration in Computer Science from the University of Delaware.

 
William D. Baird, Jr. - Senior Advisor
Denny Baird is a senior financial executive with over 40 years experience managing commercial and investment banking businesses in both global and domestic markets. He began his career at Chemical Bank in New York in 1968. During his 27 years with the bank he was President and CEO of Chemical Bank (Delaware) where he founded a $2 billion commercial bank; Managing Director of the Global Securities and Foreign Exchange Group with responsibility for 18 branches in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia; Chairman and CEO of Princeton Bank and Trust Company, at the time, the leading private bank in New Jersey; and President and Chief Operating Officer of Chemical Bank New Jersey, NA.

He joined CoreStates Bank in 1996 as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of the Personal Financial Services Group of CoreStates Asset Management with responsibility for all trust and estate, HNW investment management, and private banking activities. He was President and CEO of Glenmede Trust Company of New Jersey from 1998 until 2002. Since then he has served as a Director of Christiana Bank and Trust Company, Greenville, DE and as a consultant to a number of financial organizations.

He is a graduate of Brown University where he received an AB Degree in Political Science. Long active with community organizations, he currently is a Trustee of McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ and Morristown Memorial Health Foundation.

 
Mark L. Betlow - Chief Executive Officer, Beacon Advisory Services
Mr. Betlow has been in the life insurance and financial planning business for twenty years.

After working for two independent financial planning firms, Mark joined The Betlow Company in 1995. Throughout his career, he has received numerous industry awards and has been recognized as a leading agent for several of the companies that he represents. Specifically, Mark has been retained by some of the top executives and CEOs in corporate America, leading law firms, the most successful family-owned businesses, and publicly traded companies to consult with their executives and employees in structuring a sound corporate benefits program, while simultaneously integrating those benefits with personal planning items.

Mark serves both individuals and institutions. The bulk of his work is done in the high net worth area and the average age of these clients is 45 and above. Mark considers himself to be a holistic planner. He looks for clients who care about their well-being, their families, their businesses, and their future.

Mark is a graduate of Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. He is an active participant in various charitable organizations. Mark has been on the golf committee for the Hopes & Heroes Children’s Cancer Fund since 2005 and is a frequent guest speaker for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Mendham Patriots Basketball Program and coaches in the basketball and baseball programs in Mendham, NJ.
