Fred S. Fraenkel - Vice-Chairman, Chairman of Investment Policy Committee
Mr. Fraenkel has over 30 years of investing experience including membership in Barron's year-end roundtable from 1982 to 1985 and heading Global Research at Lehman Brothers in the early 90's. In 2000, he founded and was Chairman of Millennium 3 Capital, a venture firm specializing in early stage companies. Before Millenium 3, Mr. Fraenkel served as Vice Chairman of ING Barings Furman Selz and Chief Operating Officer of Furman Selz.
Prior to joining Furman Selz in March 1995, Mr. Fraenkel spent seven years at Lehman Brothers, Inc., where he was a Managing Director and Director of Global Research overseeing 110 analysts located in New York, London, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. As Global Research Director, he participated in managing the department's ascension in the Institutional Investor poll from a rank of 15th in 1987 to 1st in 1990, 1991, and 1992.
Before Lehman Brothers, Mr. Fraenkel was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Market America Group, an investment advisory firm. He also spent four and a half years as Director of Equity Research and a member of the Board of Directors at Prudential Securities. He began his Wall Street career in 1974 as a Securities Analyst with Goldman Sachs & Company and was Chief Investment Strategist for E.F. Hutton from 1980 to 1982.
Mr. Fraenkel received a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He was elected to membership of Beta Gamma Sigma and Omicron Delta Epsilon, the national business school and economics honorary societies. He is a past Chairman of the Board of Advisors of the College of Business and Economics of Lehigh University. Mr. Fraenkel is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Invention Machine Corporation and The Gerson Lehrman Group.

Alan Blake – Senior Advisor
Alan Blake has 32 years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining Beacon Trust, Mr. Blake was a managing director at ClearBridge Advisors, a Legg Mason company, where he oversaw the Large Cap Growth strategy products and co-managed the All Cap Growth and SAI Large Cap Growth strategies. From 1991, he managed large cap growth mandates for institutions and private clients for ClearBridge and its predecessor. He was also a member of the ClearBridge Advisors Management Committee.
Prior to joining ClearBridge, Mr. Blake served as a portfolio strategist for Prudential Bache Securities and a large cap portfolio manager at Brown Brothers Harriman. He began his financial services career in 1977 with Merrill Lynch as an account executive. Mr. Blake received a B.S. from Lehigh University and an M.S. from the State University of New York at Binghamton.

Stephen J. Balog- Chief Investment Officer, Executive Vice President
Stephen Balog started his investment career at Prudential Securities over twenty-five years ago , where he began as an analyst following the electronics industry and quickly became recognized as an Institutional Investor All Star. His past experience includes Shearson Lehman Brothers as part of the management team of the equity research department, ranked number one for three straight years (1990-1992). He was also Director of Global Technology Research at Merrill Lynch, a Director of Research for Furman Selz, and a general partner of Cedar Creek Management, LLC, an investment partnership in Summit, NJ.
Mr. Balog was recognized five times by Institutional Investor Magazine’s All-American Research poll for his work on the electronics industry. He has been quoted extensively and has lectured frequently about the research business at Columbia University and the University of Florida, and has co-authored a case study on research management which was published by the Harvard Business School.
Mr. Balog is a director of the New York Society of Securities Analysts and a member of the Economic Club of New York. He serves on the board of the St. Joseph’s High School Foundation (Metuchen, NJ) and the Kemmerer Library (Harding, NJ). He is President of the Harding Township Civic Association, and is Trustee of the Center for Civic Responsibility, a good government group in New Jersey. Mr. Balog earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University and a MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Spencer S. Marsh III - Senior Managing Director of Investments
Mr. Marsh joined Beacon Trust after a long career at E.M. Warburg Pincus & Co., where he served as Managing Director in the Private Client Group. There, he managed portfolios for high net worth individuals, foundations, and profit-sharing accounts.
Mr. Marsh serves as a Portfolio Manager and Analyst for Beacon Trust. He is a seasoned specialist in consumer non-durable and consumer cyclical sectors.
He is a graduate of Princeton University, where he majored in Economics, and received his M.B.A. from NYU’s Graduate School of Business. Mr. Marsh holds the CFA and CIC designations.
He is a Registered Investment Advisor. |

Edward T. Tokar - Senior Managing Director of Investments
Prior to joining Beacon Trust, Mr. Tokar served as Chief Executive Officer of Allied Capital Management, LLC and as Vice President of Investments and Corporate Officer of Honeywell International, Inc., where he was employed since 1977.
Throughout his career at Honeywell and its predecessor company, AlliedSignal, Inc., where he was responsible for over $18 billion of employee benefit fund assets worldwide, investment returns were nationally recognized for superior performance.
Currently, Mr. Tokar is a Director of CH Energy Group, the Gabelli Dividend and Income Trust, Gabelli Global Deal Fund, and Teton Advisors, Inc. Additionally, he has served as a Director, Trustee, or Advisory Board member for a number of leading U.S. and international investment organizations including DB Hedge Strategies, the Topiary Fund for Benefit Plan Investors, Levco Series Trust Mutual Funds, Investcorp Hedge Fund of Funds and RFE Investment Partners.
Mr. Tokar received a B.S. degree with High Honors from the University of Maryland and an M.B.A. from the College of William & Mary, where he continues to serve as Trustee Emeritus and is a member of the Business School Foundation Board. He also holds the CPA designation.

Richard B. Cawthorne – Managing Director, Portfolio Manager
Prior to joining Beacon Trust, Mr. Richard B. Cawthorne was President and CEO of Furgueson Capital Management. In addition to managing accounts, he headed the firm’s Investment Policy Committee. Mr. Cawthorne joined FCM in April 1996 after working at Bankers Trust Company (now Deutsche Bank) for 34 years. While at the bank, Mr. Cawthorne, as a Vice President and Senior Investment Officer, was responsible for the Core Trust Group that supervised the portfolios of $4 billion of trust assets. He served as Chairman of the Trust Investment Committee and he personally managed $600 million of trust and advisory assets.
Mr. Cawthorne is a graduate of Lehigh University where he majored in Economics and Finance. He served as Treasurer and Director of the John Hart Hunter Educational Foundation, Inc. as well as Treasurer and Director of the Kappa Society, his National Social Fraternity. Additionally, he has served as an Advisor, Finance Chairman, and Treasurer for his church as well as for his fraternity Alumni Board at Lehigh University.

Jack Harris – Managing Director, Portfolio Manager
Jack Harris has more than 35 years of investment experience. Before joining Beacon Trust, he served as Managing Director for Jamison Prince Asset Management, where he was responsible for portfolio management and research.
Prior to joining Jamison Prince Asset Management in 1998, Mr. Harris spent 16 years with PaineWebber Inc.'s asset management subsidiary, Mitchell Hutchins, and its predecessor organization. There, he was responsible for managing U.S. equity and balanced accounts for individual and institutional clients, both domestic and international. Previous to Mitchell Hutchins, Mr. Harris was a member of one of Neuberger Berman’s Money Management Groups for three years, where he was responsible for managing accounts and generating investment ideas. He also held investment positions with Fidelcor Inc., a bank holding company, and INA Corporation (now CIGNA) as a member of its international staff. He served in the U.S. Army for three years at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, Mons, Belgium, where he was awarded the Joint Service Commendation medal for management analyst work.
Mr. Harris holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, where he serves on the High Net Worth Committee. He also is a member of the Foreign Policy Association and serves on the Executive Committee of his Dartmouth class.

Osman Arain – Senior Vice President, Director of Research, Portfolio Manager
Prior to joining Beacon Trust, Mr. Arain served as Vice President of Quantitative Strategy and Product Analysis at Clear Asset Management. While there, he co-led the development of the firm's multifactor models. He was a key team member in the evolution of the firm's core equity strategies along with the development of new products. Before Clear Asset Management, Mr. Arain worked at Bear Stearns in equity research and at Susquehanna Investment Group at the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). He has also researched the institutional financial markets at Greenwich Associates and consulted to financial services clientele for IBM's Strategy and Change group. Mr. Arain holds a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia Business School. He holds the CFA designation.

Erik Vadeika - Managing Director, Portfolio Manager
Before joining Beacon Trust, Mr. Vadeika was employed by PNC Wealth Management, where he provided comprehensive investment solutions for private and trust portfolios. Prior to this position, he was Corporate Manager for the American Stock Exchange and a bank financial analyst.
Mr. Vadeika is a graduate of Gettysburg College and holds the CFA designation. He is also a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

Jennifer M. Coury - Managing Director, Portfolio Manager
Ms. Coury has 30 years in the investment business, including a career as an Institutional All Star Analyst and Managing Director at Lehman Brothers from 1987 through 1994.
Her career as a portfolio manager began in the mid-1990s at the Bank of New York Mellon where she managed trust and personal investment accounts, retirement accounts, and charitable trusts. She also supervised a team of portfolio managers at the Bank.
Just prior to coming to Beacon Trust, Ms. Coury was a Vice President at Jamison, Eaton and Wood. While there she provided investment services for high net worth clients. Her contribution to the firm included participating on the Investment and Strategy Team, equity research and writing the monthly communication letter to clients.
Ms. Coury is a graduate of Oakland University in Michigan. She has held the CFA designation since 1988, is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, and is an active member of the Northern New Jersey Investment Forum.

William J. Cashin, Jr. - Senior Vice President, Fixed Income Portfolio Manager
Before joining Beacon Trust, Mr. Cashin was in institutional fixed-income sales at Citibank, Sanwa Securities, and Barclays Capital. Previously, he was responsible for the daily management of Citibank's taxable domestic investment portfolio, which included Treasury, agency and mortgage-backed securities, as well as financial futures. Mr. Cashin’s investment career began at General Motors in 1970, where he ran their liquidity portfolio.
Mr. Cashin graduated from Villanova University and received his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, and a Chartered Market Technician.

Thomas S. Diemar - Vice President, Portfolio Manager
Prior to joining Beacon Trust, Mr. Diemar served as a Portfolio Manager at PGB Trust & Investments. Before this role, he was employed by Merrill Lynch in the Global Wealth Management Division and by Bear Stearns in the Private Client Group.
Mr. Diemar is a Trustee of the MacCulloch Hall Historical Museum. He is a Cannon Trust School Certificate holder and a Certified Financial Planner. Mr. Diemar received his B.A. from Middlebury College.
