Stuart Pulvirent - Managing Director, Fund Manager
Mr. Pulvirent has over 23 years of experience analyzing and investing in equity markets with a focus on the materials, energy, and industrial sectors. Prior to joining Beacon Trust, he was a Partner at ThinkEquity Partners LLC, an investment banking boutique. He led the nanotechnology practice and subsequently founded a long/short equity hedge fund and was co-portfolio manager for ThinkEquity’s mutual funds. His asset management career includes senior analyst positions at Axia Capital Management LLC, Equinox Capital Management LLC, and Zweig-DiMenna Associates LLC.
Mr. Pulvirent also was an award-winning specialty chemical and advanced materials analyst at Furman Selz LLC, Lehman Brothers (where he also was Associate Director of Research), and Prudential Securities. Prior to his investment career, Mr. Pulvirent was a Research Engineer with E.I. DuPont de Nemours. Pulvirent received his M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University.

Jeremy Klein – Fund Manager
Mr. Klein manages the Beacon Worldwide Opportunity Fund, a long-short equity hedge fund that seeks alpha from companies with global exposure and provides principal protection through the use of macro futures. Before joining Beacon Trust, he served as Chief Market Strategist and Head Futures Trader of The Frommer Group LLC (TFG), a multi-strategy hedge fund. At TFG, he provided long term direction, managed a day trading futures portfolio, and wrote a daily market commentary for a dedicated membership community. Previously, Mr. Klein was the Senior Trader for Quest Partners LLC, a $600 million systematic Commodity/CTA hedge fund, where he traded over fifty of the global commodity and the F/X markets as hedges to the equity portfolio as well as for the firm’s futures and foreign exchange proprietary programs. Additionally, he spearheaded all marketing efforts, significantly increasing assets under management.
Prior to his employment at Quest, Mr. Klein was the Senior Trader for RBC Capital Markets U.S. Program Trading Desk and was instrumental in the desk’s growth. While at RBC, he managed a separate proprietary futures trading portfolio. Mr. Klein served as a macro trader at J. Goldman & Co and as a Vice President on Lehman Brothers’ Equity Proprietary Trading Desk. He received his M.B.A degree with Distinction with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and his B.S. degree with a major in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University.
