James D. Nesci – President


James Nesci is president of Beacon Trust and also serves as chief wealth management officer at The Provident Bank.

Mr. Nesci has been in the financial industry for more than 20 years and is working to enhance and expand wealth management services in response to the growing demand for sophisticated and reliable financial advice. He is a member of Beacon Trust’s board of directors and Provident Bank’s Executive Leadership Team, which drives the direction of the bank. He also serves on several of the bank’s management committees, including the Asset and Liability Committee, Officers Trust Committee, and Disclosure Committee. In addition, Mr. Nesci is a board member of PFS Insurance Services, Inc.

Prior to joining Provident, Mr. Nesci was chief operating officer for the national wealth management division of Wilmington Trust. While at Wilmington, Mr. Nesci was a key member of the wealth management merger and acquisitions team. Earlier, he worked with Lehman Brothers’ high net worth group and in the corporate trust departments of U.S. Trust and HSBC.

Mr. Nesci has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Hofstra University and earned masters’ degrees from the London and Columbia Business Schools’ EMBA-Global program.

 
John Longo, PhD, CFA – Chief Investment Officer, Beacon Investment Advisory Services


Mr. Longo plays a key role in developing Beacon Trust’s macroeconomic outlook and serves as co-portfolio manager for several of the firm’s investment products. He has 20 years of investment management experience. He contributes to Beacon Trust’s thought leadership in the field of investment management and strategy and represents the firm, as invited speaker, at numerous financial-related conferences throughout the world.

Mr. Longo is also a Professor of Finance at Rutgers Business School, and has taught in its undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA, and International Executive MBA programs for more than fifteen years. Previously, Mr. Longo was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch, where he played an instrumental role in creating and managing investment strategies for Merrill Lynch’s Strategy Power product. Strategy Power eventually gathered over $1 billion in managed account assets.

Mr. Longo holds PhD and MBA degrees in Finance and a B.A. degree with a double major in Computer Science and Economics, all from Rutgers University and is a chartered financial analyst (CFA).

 
Valerie O. Murray, CFP® Chief Operating Officer


Valerie Murray is chief operating officer of Beacon Trust. She is responsible for initiatives across the organization related to client services, technology, marketing, and operations. In her role as chief operating officer, Ms. Murray works closely with the President and management team to implement the strategic plan and oversee initiatives to improve efficiency and enhance the overall wealth management offering for clients.

Ms. Murray has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining Beacon Trust in 2011, she was senior vice president and senior trust officer at U.S. Trust in New York City. During her 15-year tenure with U.S. Trust, Ms. Murray administered high net worth relationships and successfully transitioned clients through two mergers and acquisitions, including Charles Schwab’s acquisition of U.S. Trust in 2000 and Bank of America’s acquisition of U.S. Trust in 2007.

Ms. Murray serves on the Board of Directors of Jersey Battered Women’s Services, Inc. (JBWS), and she is a member of Provident4Women, a social networking group organized in 2014 to share insights about various topics impacting women. Ms. Murray received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Bucknell University, and she is a CFP® professional. She also attended New York Bankers Association (NYBA) schools for Trust Administration, Estate Administration, and Fiduciary Taxation, and the American Bankers Association (ABA) School for Wealth Management & Trusts.

 
Glenn A. Myers, JD – Executive Managing Director, Investment Strategy


Mr. Myers is responsible for overseeing Beacon Trust’s hybrid of open architecture and propriety investment strategies. His responsibilities include the firm’s process of optimizing best-in-breed managers to match a client’s economic and emotional risk tolerances, manager search and selection, managed ETF portfolios, equity managed accounts, fixed income managed accounts and risk-controlled investment strategies.

Prior to joining Beacon Trust Company, Mr. Myers was President of Acertus Capital Management, where he was pivotal in the development and launch of the specialty alternative investment manager. Mr. Myers was also responsible for the management of The MDE Group and played a critical role in building the firm, which Barron’s consistently ranked as one of the top independent wealth managers in the nation. Acertus Capital Management and The MDE Group were later acquired by Beacon Trust Company.

Mr. Myers is a member of the Financial Advisory Board to the Rutgers School of Business.

Mr. Myers holds a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law and is a member of the New Jersey Bar. He also has a B.S. in finance from Rutgers College and Rutgers School of Business.

 
Gregory J. Dubnansky, CTFA – Director of Sales, Wealth Management


Gregory Dubnansky is director of sales for the wealth management group. He has more than 35 years of financial industry experience.

Prior to Beacon Trust, Mr. Dubnansky held senior positions with major banking institutions, including First Morris Bank & Trust, Trust Company of New Jersey, Fleet Bank, Summit Bancorp and Garden State Bank. His core experience lies in administration, tax, marketing, business development and operations. Mr. Dubnansky is a member of the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Central New Jersey and a past member of the Toms River Kiwanis Club. As a member of the New Jersey Bankers Association, he served on both the Marketing and Business Development and the Administration Committees for the association’s Trust & Financial Management Division.

Mr. Dubnansky received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bentley University and is a graduate of the Mid-Atlantic School of Trust at Bucknell University. He was designated a certified trust and financial advisor (CTFA) upon graduation from the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University.

 
Leonard G. Gleason
Leonard G. Gleason – General Counsel


Leonard G. Gleason is general counsel of Beacon Trust and also serves as general counsel of The Provident Bank, and investor relations officer of Provident Financial Services, Inc. With more than 30 years of legal experience in the banking industry, Mr. Gleason provides legal advice and counsel to the various departments within both organizations. Previously, Mr. Gleason served as general counsel and secretary at UnitedTrust Bank in Bridgewater. Earlier, he was corporate counsel at Cenlar Federal Savings Bank in Ewing, corporate counsel and secretary at Berkeley Federal Savings Bank in Millburn, and tax counsel at Carteret Savings Bank in Morristown. Mr. Gleason received a bachelor’s degree from St. Peter’s College and earned a Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.

 
Kenneth Lenskold – Chief Compliance Officer, Beacon Investment Advisory Services


Kenneth Lenskold is the chief compliance officer for Beacon Investment Advisory Services. He has worked in the financial services industry for more than 25 years.

Mr. Lenskold is responsible for developing and maintaining policies and procedures, and controls for critical compliance functions at BIAS, including for operations, client services, investments, and sales and marketing. Previously, Mr. Lenskold was senior vice president at Merrill Lynch where he developed, implemented and maintained compliance risk management programs, and policies and procedures. Prior to that he developed the compliance program for the Bank of America investment advisor. Earlier, Mr. Lenskold served as the director of compliance at Wit Capital, the first internet investment banking firm, and as a vice president in compliance at Citicorp Investment Services.

Mr. Lenskold received a bachelor’s degree from Yale University.
